GM paint question for the experts....

Ill hope somebody knows the answer to this; a couple of days ago I was sitting at a redlight and across the intersection I saw either a Chevy Cobalt or Pontiac G5 coupe (couldnt tell, couldnt see the grille) sitting there with the coolest paintjob that Im pretty sure was a factory color and Im trying to identify the color. Ive done the google thing looking for paint charts but no luck so far. The color looked like a light purple at first glance but it sorta looked like a light blue paint with clear purple pearl sprayed on it so it had a lilac or orchid appearance. Not to sound too weird but I was thinking that might be a very cool color to paint my 73 shorty van someday, a very custom color and different. Anyway, any Chevy/Pontiac experts here with an idea?
