Charlotte wanted to go out to dinner and a movie last night. So we did.

She picked Rock Of Ages. I reluctantly conceeded.

That was the longest 2 hours of our lives that we will never get back.

Ever.

DO NOT go see Rock Of Ages!

Tom Cruise sucked, as did the majority of the cast and the story line.

Oh, and Alec Baldwin removed all doubt that he is gay.

Morning Pat!

Dinner at Smokehouse BBQ was outstanding!

Charlotte just said, and I quote.. "The movie was horrible!"

I am always up this early and on my second cup of java.

I thought the trailer sucked, so I can only imagine how crappy the movie was.

Saw Prometheus earlier this week (his night off, took me out for an early Father's Day treat; I paid...).

Wasn't bad, not nearly as intense as the original "Aliens," which seemed to be a template for it.

You seen MIB III yet? I enjoyed the heck of that one.

I cant think of one single Tom Cruise movie worth a darn. Most overrated "actor" ever.

The movie actually had a fair write up in Fridays USA today newspaper.

Not on my list to see, however will be on cable real soon.

Hmmmm, Mary J. Blige singing would be worth it alone to me. Why she isn't more famous is beyond me.

I'll go see it. I love Journey, am mediocre about Cruise, but this movie reminds me of my college days so it's on the list.

Rex, I love Men in Black but thought that III was a little disappointing. To each his own........

#1 is far and away the best, IMO, but I thought Brolin did a great job as the young K, so that was a big part of my thoughts on the sequel.

I actually hope they do a MIB IV, I just enjoy the characters, and the whole concept of the "aliens among us".

Hey Mikey,

Sounds like you and Charlotte aren't alone with your critique of ROA:

"Zoo animals remain hot at the box office. Singing stars and Adam Sandler are not....'Madagascar 3' and Prometheus' held off two under-achieving newcomers. The star-studded musical "Rock of Ages," whose cast includes Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alec Baldwin, flopped at No. 3 with $15.1 million."

From the trailers I don't get the impression anyone in that movie is actually a rocker.

Kinda like the coneheads did it.

Renting airheads, spinal tap, almost famous, or even that doors documentary with Val probably more worth it.

Then there was Detroit rock city. Oh yeah. Definitely some real rockers in orbit on that set.
