Speedometer was off - Slightly

I checked my speedometer / odometer
* Cruise set at 60
* Check with stopwatch and odometer at freeway mile markers
* 2 different stretches of 10 miles each
* Also did same with GPS

All results were the same. Speedometer says 60, reality was 57.8. I recently got 4.10 gears and I have new 265/50 Nitto's. The tires should be 709 rev/mile. So I've had a 4.10 tune and I changed the revs/mile to 710.

I changed the revs/mile to 715 and it is about perfect now at 59.5.

There's about 2mph at 65, according to radar, from the factory. Speedo says 65, police say 63. Not a ticket, just a friend who doesn't mind helping me calibrate the thing.

Unless yoiu have a "Certified" LE speedo they are all off by a %. The faster you go the higher the %.

Same issue here. I didn't think about trying 715 revs per mile. I'm currently set at 710 which is about 1.5-2 mph faster than I am actually going. Not that isn't a bad thing, gives a little extra buffer when stretching the right leg.
