I have recently taken my fathers mid 50's 10 cent coke machine. It is all origi.al.and still works and im looking for more info on it. Anyone point me in right direction?

He thinks im taking it to display in my man cave but im actually restoring it and giving it back to him for his birthday in September. It was his dads and its one of his favorite keepsakes from his youth ( he is now 64) and has been sitting in his garage for well over 30 years. Im having trouble tracking down info.

The World of Coke in Atlanta might be a good place to start. They have a lot of old and restored stuff in there. Rick's Restorations in Las Vegas on the History Channel. You can call them.

There is a Coca Cola museum in Louisville, KY near Elizabethtown. They might have some info available >>>>>>> http://www.schmidtmuseum.com/

Other pics info here >>>>>> http://www.collectorsweekly.com/coca-cola/machines

Charlie,

He could try calling them, but may not have much luck. The Schmidt Museum closed shortly after the Louisville meet, and items are and have been auctioned off.

:(:(

Nope, Coke won't help cause they never built any of the machines. Try these sites, I have 7 complete machines for the 50"s... love em!

http://www.fun-tronicsllc.com/

These two have enough info on them to restore about anything!

I prefer the square tops, you can display things on top of them too. Easy to repair and get parts for. Cheap!!!!

That's what I was going to say.
