I hit 110 when I still had 3.55s...haven't had the opportunity to stretch the legs since my install of 4.10s, but I'm VERY impressed from 0-80...and it definately feels like there's plenty more.

Be careful of very high speeds if you still have the OEM drive shaft. If you feel any noticeable vibration at high speeds back off as a tail shaft failure maybe in your future.

Many members have switched to better balanced drive shafts for this reason.:)

It depends on tire size, you guys must be hitting those 140 plus after OD kicked in.
my car with 29" tall tires goes 135@7K rpms on 3rd gear with the TC locked.

I did 120+ on the Charlotte Motor Speedway during Marauderville VIII.

With fairly new 255's & 4.10's I have had the needle buried in my black Marauder....... Then the car shut down:eek: due to hitting the rev limiter or some type of fuel availability issue...... Coasted a lil, and everything was fine..... So if I were to guess, I would say 145-150mph here with the set up I was running.:burnout:... Oh .... O/D was off :)

I thought the stock Marauder was governed at 117 to limit drive shaft vibration?

Very true, but when 4.10's are installed folks usually go get a tune and a new shift map. The tune disengages the govenor. Thats said if you go that route and plan on driving your Marauder up top get that driveshaft rebalanced to deal with the rev's associated with post 115 mph driving. This has all been explained in dozens of other threads over the years, so feel free to search for better/more technical info than I can provide.

I just know you need to do it, to keep from tearing up the car.:burnout:

Rebalancing the drive shaft maybe... maybe needed. Mine is stock. The key is to NOT run at 120+ for a long period of time. Unless you are at a track, a quick blast north of 100 is all you could probably do anyway.

Stock drive shaft 4.10S 150+ MPH - done seldom but repeatable, after 110 its like a barn in a wind tunnel

I'M almost never more than 75 mph but I have never ever had drive shaft vibration.

Sebring International, SVTOA high performance weekend. 4:10's Nitto 555, 295/45/18 on widened rears w/od off back straight 139 indicated @ 7000 rpms and lifting. Always ran w/od off as I did not want 3 to od at high rpms so no idea what od on would do. Trilogy w/ 3.2 and Lidio ass tune. Wonderful weekends of great fun with good people and real learning experiences.

Why I never go over 120
 Then you won't need to get a better balanced drive shaft will you

With 4.10's my 3rd is finished at 120-125ish unless I REALLY spin the hell out of it. But the engine isn't really making anymore power after around 6k anyway. But in OD it still hauls plenty of ass.

My observation and adjustments on the tune are this.

1-2 shift 40mph 6300
2-3 shift 80mph 6100
3-4 shift 125mph 6000

P.S. you guys spinning past 6k under hard load in 3rd gear better have a damn good A/F, conservative tune, and a head cooling mod.
