wondering what you all think is a better s/c the roushcharger or saleen series vi integrated twin screw s/c. I ask because im interested in a truck , specifically can't decide between 07 08 f150 nitemare (reg cab), roush stage 3 f150( ext. cab), or saleen s331 s/c (also ext. cab). Ive never a s/c vehicle as my marauder is stock. So basically wondering pros and cons of each system, and which iis more reliable. have done a little research and found roush system similar to what the eaton conversion looks like in pics, says it has a roushcharger blower and air to water intercooler, 4-5 psi of boost. saleen system has series vi integrated twin screw s/c, says its water to air intercooler. whats diff in intercoolers also? any help appreciated!

When you say "better" are you referring to power, relaibility, workmanship, unit price, or something else?

Both Roush and Saleen produce well engineered products, don't think you could go wrong with either one.

I've had friends with Saleen blown 3v's and they always performed extremely well. I've noticed the Roush's always seem to perform just a little less and seem to have a lower ceiling than the Saleen blower.

+1. The Saleen S331 has about 5 additional horsepower then the Roush Nitemare. Also they made like 300+ IIRC...while the Roush Nitemare only had a 100 made. I have #13 and love it.

I have a Roush Nitmare, I'm the third owner so far as problems or concerns to look for I wouldn't know being I only had it a few months.

You can take all worries out the picture and get the New Roush Raptor

You can dig through these VMP dyno results for an idea of what you can get out of her. :D http://vmptuning.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=34
