Coming back from Maryland yesterday, I saw a beautiful 1951 Chris Craft wooden speedboat being trailered back to North Carolina. Name was "Bucket List". Perfect restoration. Beautiful ......

When I was a little kid growing up in the midwest, I remember going boating out on the Humboldt River in a Chris Craft that belonged to a neighbor. He kept it in beautiful condition. Great memories!

Always loved those boats. When I was kid, I had a couple friends whose folks had them and really enjoyed riding in them.

There are a couple of great antique and classic boat shows in the area. St. Michael's in MD, and Smith Mountain Lake in VA. We are usually at the show at SML every September. Future CAM meet? :)
