I finally did something worthwhile with my 208,000 mile '86 Mustang GT! I participated in pur local parade to celebrate Independence day! Here are a couple of pics. These are of the staging area.

It was down main street in Bel Air. Many car clubs were there, the Mustang club of MD did this parade as well as Dundalk, which I didn't participate in.

Thank you! It was repainted by its original owner in 1995, and I bought it from him a few years ago. I've got big dreams for it...which keeps me from buying a Marauder just yet.

Looks great....Always liked that generation. Wasn't that the last year for that front end style? I think they changed in 87.

His is a four-eyed Fox and in '87 you are right, was the 1st year of the Areo style.

Yes...mine being a 1986 was the first year for fuel injection, and the last year for the four rectangular headlamps. Although I do like the '87-93 mustangs, I prefer the look of the '86. :bandit:

I had an '88 GT T-Top in Dk. Shadow Blue with the Silver accent on the lower 1/3rd. I liked it a lot and at the time it was pretty quick, a couple of Camaro owners found out the hard way. :)
