Anyone done the conversion to hid in the fogs i bought a h1 kit only to find out mine has a socket to plug the bulb into. Kinda like a 9005 bulb. Any ideas

use the search and look up HID FOG LIGHTS theres more than one option and a few right ups on them i had them done there great i got 5000 in my head and fog lights

You can do it yourself...Not hard, really...There's a "How to"...Here somewhere ...

6000k hid kit i just went to the junk yard and found a set of the stock bulbs and sockets and took a dremel and cut out the entire centers of them put the hid bulb in there and boom i was all set pretty easy to do

Did you put any RTV sealant on the back of the fog lamp once the bulb was installed to seal it all up?

I use H10's instead of the H1's. No need to mess with the stock socket.

I would put more than a tiny bit if you are using an H1 bulb. H10 only needs a thin coating.

Slight modifications needed. Much less than the H1's.
