Anyone know what it is? Just trying to get an idea of whether I need a truck or not to transport it or if I can put it in the trunk of the MM.

Why risk damage to your car? Just grab an s-10 or ranger from a friend and go grab it. You'll be really pissed if you drop the thing on the rear of your MM!

IIRC, the complete engine weighs around 540 lbs, the short block (with all internals) is around 425.

When I was going to have him change my motor out, he said " just stick it in your trunk and drive it up here" (insert CBTquote now) It'll fit. ;)
