Need some advice fellas.
I just took home a new car, and right in the middle of the passenger window was a sticker (clear plastic), for the "objects are closer than they appear" thing.
Anyway, I peeled it off, and am left with the gooey/sticky residue on the window.
Without having to buy an entire can of "GooGone" or the 3M remover (this little sticker is all I'll use it for)...is there anything else I can use?
(I have already: WD-40 / isopropyl alcohol / not much else I can think of that would work). I thought about the heatgun approch; but its safer to just buy something at that point.

Try an orange cut in half. The citric acid is what they use in goo gone.

Try using nail polish remover. Most contain Acetone, and it is safe to use on glass.

That I have. (Don't ask why!)

It's too skicky for that. I'd still need to clean it off after.

I just didn't want to buy a whloe can of something, just for a 1" x 3" mark.

Kerosene might work I used it to help with tint removal just dont get any on anything but the glass. works great as well if you have alot of tar build up on your cars paint spray the whole car wait 5 or so minutes then rinse and wash really good youd be surprised how good it works.

Spray it good with window cleaner and while it's still soaked use the razor blade to remove. I've done it many times and it will work like a champ.

This is the same thing I've done for some years now, every year back in Chicago we'd have to remove the big bucks city sticker and slap a new one in and I never had a problem.

keros a old trick I learned from an old detailer it is stinky and dangerous to work with but I use it as a last resort. I was taught to start with the product that is the least harshest first and go up in steps till I get results that work.

Tried the window cleaner first; it just collected pieces of the papertowel.
Went to the nail-polish remover; gone! My window is clean.
Thanks for the suggestions everybody.
