Hey guys, i finally hand washed my marauder for the first time this winter season, and i was absolutly disgusted!!!! The car has always had touchless washes and hand washed by myself. Its been zainoed and all. But the paint is horendous!!!! It looks as if someone washed it with a brillo pad!!! Plus, there are MANY imperfetions in the paint i never noticed before, mainly small spidered webbed looking spots about half the size of a dime. These are all over the trunk, hood and roof. I know the marauders have weak paint, but this seems a bit redicouous. My build date is 06/02 So its an early build.
I do remember reading, but i cant find it, the articles that ford said the early marauders had paint issues. Because i believe i maay need a repaint. I want to have all the papers and research i need before i go to the dealership, just in case they try to give me a run around. Any info on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Ack! Now I'm scared to wash mine. She look terrible covered in salty mud.

Make sure you run it thru a touchless wash first!!! I did that, and it was that bad!!!! I think just the flying sand particles "sandblasted" my paint!! Its too darn thin!!!

The squeeky wheel gets the oil!!!!!! Don't take no for an answer. Keep *****ing to Ford Customer Sevice if the dealer says no!!!!! :argue: :argue: :argue:
