Great plate....the Blackbird..well....The aircraft flew so fast and so high that if the pilot detected a surface-to-air missile launch, the standard evasive action was simply to accelerate.

It's hard to believe they developed that plane so long ago. There's one in front of the museum next to the Richmond airport that I see quite a bit
