I spent many a weekend there, saw all of the big boys race at Union Grove in the late 60's - early 70's:

Sox and Martin
Big Daddy Don Gartlits
Shirley Cha Cha Muldowney
Connie Kalitta
TV Tommy Ivo
Don The Snake Prudhomme
Dyno Don Nicholson
Arnie the Farmer Bewick

I could go on and on...

and Broadway Bob was the man that put those shows together.

I lived in SE Wisconsin for 15 years and went to greatlakes numerous times and Broadway Bob was always there.

I grew up listening to Bob's comercials (he was an awesome promoter) and attending the "Grove".
