Weather in September should be in the low 70s and cooling down into the 50s at night. Its a hard one to call this year as it has been very hot allyear. I would bring a sweat shirt and a light jacket. Fall is a great time here in Michigan!:)

Here in Michigan we don't predict the weather...we report it after it happens. Most of you guys have never witnessed how fast weather can really change. Christmas Eve last year it was 40 degrees here in GR and at my house (26 miles north of Grand Rapids) there was 3 inches of fresh snow. These lakes can do whatever they want when they want!~
