Sorry for shouting but that is the frustration talking. My wife sent me the following picture but I don't know what the heck it is thus I cannot find it to replace it. Anyone know what this canister thingie is?

It's a vibration damper. There's one on each side of the exhaust.

Yep, I was also wondering the same thing. :confused:

Never did see that when I was replacing my mufflers and checking the undercarriage numerous times.

Its Ford's way of keeping noises and vibration down. My 91 Mustang had em too on the rear end. Extra weight for traction!
