Congratulations :congrats: ..... that's a big step. Soon you will be one of the "Iron Majors".

Pinned my gold oak leaves on 7 June 1983. OMG that's 29 years ago. You were probably about 3-4 years old at that time. Hard to believe. Time sure flies.

My son pinned on his gold leaves on 2 March 2009 ..... 3 years ago.

I sincerely appreciate the kind words and congrats. It has been a pretty long haul to get here. My journey began as an E-1 early one March morning in 1988. I have seen and done a lot over the years. I have been lucky to have served in two branches as well. There is no way I could have made it this far without the support of some fine folks that I serve/served with. My wife has also greatly contributed, could not have done it without her. I am thankful that I have had the privilege to serve and will continue to do so as long as I am able. :flag:

Congrats Sir! My journey started 15 OCT 85 and still going. I'll be MRD'd here in a short time. Hey look at it this way, you'll be below the zone for LTC before you know it. ;)
