I've seen some very creative work appear here from time to time and I would like to enlist some of that creativity.

I have owned a 65 Mercury Park Lane Marauder for several years as a project that I would eventually get to. I've driven it around some...even took it up to our monthly gathering of the southern marauders......where it took on the nickname of 'ol smokey.
Last year we pulled the motor and it now resides at Mo's Speed Shop to be freshened up with a few improvements.
The Body went up to my buddy Derrick's for bodywork and paint.
This has been one of those backburner....no hurry projects.
You may have seen some recent photos of Marty's YELLOW fox vert that Derrick is putting the final touches on..............He does amazing work and is very busy.
Well.....Derrick called me a couple weeks ago and said he was starting on the 65 Merc:banana2: Turns out he has a '51 Ford Custom convertible coming in that he will doing a full rottiserie resto/mod...........so if he didn't get mine going it was going back on that back burner.

So.............here's what I'm looking for.
I'm staying with the original White with Blue Vinyl Top and Blue interior.
I plan to drop the car and rack the stance a bit(wheel/tire combos). Also looking at adding in some more color to the paint (stripes/two-tone/etc).

I'll add some photos to work from. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

This is how I bought it in 2008 out of York, PA.

This is in my driveway after ripping that nasty vinyl top off.
Thought about throwing some seed on the roof and having a chia-pet marauder:D

I have not seen a 65 Marauder done the way I want.
But here is a 65 Galaxy as an example of the stance I'm looking for.
Also took the roof color and added to hood.
