Just got 2 letters from Ford trying to get me to buy a new car.

They offered $9805 for my 2006 Fusion SEL and 'only' $9155 for my 2003 Marauder.

Ouch!

Depending on the new vehicle prices, the difference between those and offered prices, and relative ages of the vehicles could make that a true statement.

Seems pretty reasonable for a trade in, IE wholesale, offer on a sight unseen vehicle. Heck it's more than I paid for mine from a private party 1 1/2 years ago.
