I'm in Springfield. Have a Torino-Red 2004. 106k on clock, bought car with less than 10,000 miles on it in late 2004. Bone cold stock. Drive it every day. $10k takes it.

Yes I love mine too, and it has been a great daily driver for 2 years. Its relatively low miles and super clean but time for someone else to enjoy it. One thing I am realizing is that I thought it was hard finding my Impala, but finding a Marauder is going to be even tougher!
Thanks for the help guys.

03 Black, 2nd owner, 90K miles, Salvage Title, Deer Impact, Air bags did not deploy, replaced/painted left front fender, hood, and repainted roof. Car was issued title due to insurance deeming car "not worth repairing". Car was fixed right. No major dings or dents, paint has scratches in quarters and trunk lid. Interior is clean, underhood is dirty. All stock, cold air kit. Newer tires, owner said it needs front rotors (warped).
**I have not seen this car in person, have lots of pictures, but obviously need to verify condition and drive it before pulling the trigger **
They way I look at this car and its price is I will be using it for a daily driver so if the paint scratches bother me I can have someone try and fill the scratches, wetsand and buff and see how it looks. Or bite the bullet and paint the quarters and the trunk lid.
I dont want a guessing game on the price, but I think its pretty fair. Ill wait for a few replies before posting the price. And just for the record the title really doesnt bother me. Its insurance crap anyway..............
Thanks guys.

I had my Dad look at it for me as I was at work. He said the paint was not super nice at all. I still may go look at it though............
several things I noticed.
1. passenger side rear door molding is popped up
2. some type of rubber patch material on rear door drivers side
3. Marauder lettering on rear bumper looks hand painted
4. small dent on roof above driver
5. incorrect tires, 235/55/18 tires all around
6. paint chipping off passenger mirror
might be worth getting if it's mechanically sound
remember. . .it's got alot of miles, hopefully it had good care

I saw a nice looking silver birch up north near Zona Rosa. I pulled up next to it and it was an old chick driving it. I was going to follow her and ask her if she'd be willing to part with it, but she was going too slow and I had to be somewhere else.

That car was discussed in detail on page two. Its kind of a long story but unless they come down on the price, do some PDR, and maybe some patch painting the exterior is pretty rough for my taste. The car does seem to run well and drive nice, but for that mileage and price the paint could be a little nicer. There is actually a spot on the drivers door where someone buffed through the base coat to the primer.

Its not a big deal. This is going to take a while. I just really like the way that Hubler car looks. If he would go 12 grand I would spend what I believe to be a little too much on that car because of its condition, and a few aftermarket parts that I like, but dont have to have.
He told me to bring my car and 6500. :bs: I told him thanks for your time but I cant sell my car at wholesale and buy your car at retail plus some. He was very nice to deal with, dont get me wrong. Now I remember why I typically just sell my cars for cash, and buy cars for cash instead of bickering. :)
Still looking everyday fellas, thanks for all the help!

Sent an email to the Hubler Auto Plaza dealer about coming closer together on price, I am shocked that I have not received a response?!?!
I am thinking I want to drive out there and sit down and make a deal. However, the timing couldnt be worse. I am leaving on vacation Monday and wont be back until Saturday. With my work schedule the soonest I could get out there is Friday October 26th. I am banking on the car still being for sale. I know if it is at that point I will get a better deal. But waiting too long I could lose the car to another buyer. My fingers are crossed.

Just a month or two ago I was trying to sell my 60k mile marauder for 12k. Probably would have taken less as I was in a financial bind. Well, I was able to get a job after being laid off and am no longer selling. But my point is don't buy a 100k+ mileage car for 10-12k when with time and patience, you can get a much better deal. Also, expand your search! I drove 8 hours to pick up my marauder and would have driven 20 if I had to to find the right car. With members all over the country, you should be able to get someone to check out a car for you that's far away so you know what to expect. Good luck with your search.

The car I am looking at has lots of aftermarket parts on it which I would more than likely add to the one I buy anyway. That is how I justify an extra 1000 or 1500 on top of what I feel is fair. The other part of it is the paint and body condition. Which, according to the previous owner is extremely nice. He also stated the interior is just as clean. I also have a secret weapon on this car, I know what the dealer paid for it.
The 105K miles truly does not bother me like it does other people. I work in the automotive industry so I see failure of major parts due to abuse, rarely miles. I have several customers with decently maintained vehicles with 200 or 300k miles. IE- customer has a 04 DTR with 232k miles, and its just as nice as it was when it was new.
Your car when it was advertised was a decent deal. If I was looking at the time you advertised it I probably would have contacted you. I am currently searching multiple times per day, and am searching within 1000 miles of my location. Buying sight unseen (pictures hide too many things) scares me and I will not do it due to past experiences. And also one person's view of "nice" can be completely different from mine.
Anyway, you get my point, Im still looking!!!! And I really really really appreciate everyones help here. You all are awesome to deal with. I will find the right car.

Talked to the Hubler Auto Plaza dealer today and I am glad I did. The owner stated that he was going to take the Marauder to auction early next week but since I called he was going to hang on to the car another week or so. Just enough time for me to get down there next Friday. That tells me they are not getting much interest. And that if they take it to auction they probably would not get what they paid for it plus a sellers fee. I hope this will help me get a good deal on this car. Maybe by this time next week I will have some good news. We will see............

Wish me luck fellas......... calling Hubler tomorrow to see if we are on the same page dollar wise. If so, I will be driving out to St Louis Friday to make this happen. I am just trying to keep myself from wasting 100 bux in fuel and a whole day of driving................and putting 500 miles on my car, LOL.

Tire of playing games with these guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant even get a call back to verify our agreements before driving 4 hours out there!!!!!! Argh
I'll tell you what, the Marauder market has really dried up in KC. When I started looking months ago there was always at least 2 on CL and a few at the dealers. Not so much anymore. I hope you find one you want, so I can reclaim the KC market. I want one too, but I'm willing to wait. I've bought two cars off eBay in the past and both worked out fine, but in this case I won't do it. I appreciate reading your trials and tribulations of calling some of the nearby stuff. Definitely worthwhile info.

Yes it has. I have been actively searching for 3 months and have seen one in person locally at the Ford Dealer. I have flagged down 1 local guy while driving, not for sale. I discovered another near my house but the rear bumper is trashed so I didnt bother leaving a note.
I too am willing to wait. I will find the car I am looking for. Just getting tired of people inflating prices beyond belief on some of these cars. And the dealer obviously doesnt want my business............... at least I feel that way.

Hubler is not working with me............ moving on.
Just wondering what you guys think is a decent price for a Blue 03, completely stock, good condition, 30K miles. This would be a sight unseen purchase, but in terms of ratings at this particular place it is rated very well in terms of vehicle condition. Any input would be appreciated. Need to know before Monday! :)

Well considering only 328 blues were made, and you've spotted a low millage queen. Just do it.
I found my 04 DTR by chance online at the local Carmax. Walked in told them I'll take. I was asked to drive it before the paper work. That just prolonged me taking it home sooner. But when we got back from the test drive. There were people waiting for it. I payed $17,900 with 24,000 miles. I had to have it. Didn't care about the price. It was coming home regardless.

DTR + 4.10's + Eaton swap = Wreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom

I've never used either. I use the Guspech750 price guide book.
If its as nice as it looks. And is way better than other cars I've looked at. I have no problem paying more for something that has been well taken care of.

Got a great deal on this car. Very happy so far. This is my first sight unseen purchase but it had very good reviews from the company, and a clean carfax and autocheck score. Arranging to have it picked up in Philadelphia and shipped here to Kansas City.
2003 Dark Blue Pearl with Charcoal Interior hardtop. I believe it is a 300B car has heated seats, no clock on the dash and no map pockets in the seats. Mileage is just over 30K. I will start a new thread once the car arrives cause I am sure I will have many questions.
AGAIN, thank you to all of you guys for your help and insight, and opinons. I am looking forward to participating in the forums and enjoying my Marauder just as all of you do.

knowing that that car is 1 of 113 ever made. I would almost guarantee that is the DBP that was sold out from under me last July while I was driving in to pick it up. It was a DPB with dark charoal interior with 27k on it at the time with a cell phone antenna in the rear window. Nothing like having the check in hand with the dealer telling me it was mine and I didn't need to give a deposit. I see they fixed the passenger side C pillar paint. Is the ignition still missing the plastic cover/ key guide?
I dont mean to sound negative, Welcome to the blues brothers. I was upset, but it worked out better for me in the end with the blue I found.

Could be the car. I have not received the car yet so I will let you know next week on the plastic key guide. I know what you mean about being upset it has happened to me too. If it makes you feel any better I am pretty sure that this car was repo'd from the person that bought it from that dealer.
