the 21st century, and scored a Galaxy Sll today!

I have not had a data plan (I know, I know) since having a cellular phone, considering I am surrounded by computers all day and night.

Well, can't say that now.

:D

This damn thing is amazing! Another cool part was totally redoing my plan that saved me about $40.00 p/mo on top of it!

Totally unlimited voice, text and data. No throttling, no caps, nothing. While riding on a 4G network.

Mike.

For those of us who still live in the 20th century what the F are you talking about? I thought a Galaxy was a big Ford or something you look at in a big telescope.

What does it do that makes it so special? Maybe I need to get this. I was thinking of getting a Jitterbug but this thing you got peaks my interest.

Smart phone with a $100+ monthly bill....vs my current old dinosaur flip phone that costs me just over $30 a month. Sorry. I'm sticking with my dinosaur cause it still takes and receives calls which is why I bought it. My wallet feels $70 dollars heavier each month.

Didn't you hear that Apple sued Samsung over patents? Most of which pertain to Samsung's smart phones......

Apple won....

I just upgraded my "flipphone" to a Droid - it was a free upgrade and I shared the data plan w/my daughter.
The point that sold it for me was the model of the phone - it's a Pantech "Marauder"!

Does it have Siri Mike? I. Didn't. Think. So! Lol

Get tapatalk for here. It is amazing how fast it loads plus sooo easy to upload pics.

Dinosaur phones should be recycled! I use mine for my job at least hourly and I'm just a Plumber! Who da thunk?

Cell phones of any type do not work real well here. Besides they are a invasion of my privacy. You want me call the house and leave a message.

Are you positive you are truly unlimited? And not like 10GB or 5GB of bandwidth followed by throttled connection speeds that make it almost unusable?

If so, what plan did you get? I've been with T-Mobile for years and they offered nothing like that to us....

I am absolutely certain that the data is truly unlimited. No throttling. No cap.

The plan, I think, is called Family Value Unlimited

My daughters phone is also on my plan. Mine is the only one that went to data.

Both phones are unlimited voice and text as well.

 ;)

If it's on the table I'll read it. Just got done with a Family Circle that came from somewhere. Lot's of yummy sounding recipes to try out.

I rarely use a cell phone, have it for emergency type situations, police, AAA,etc. Kind of like Rayjay accept I got rid of the answering machine too. If I ain't home call back later. :)

Oh, btw, Massacre! I am getting old.... Damn memory loss... :geezer:

And for gawds sake, get the Ted app! :P

The Doom's Marauder of phones :DHow long does the battery last on that one? My RAZR needs to be on charge whenever possible, so that it lasts the day for me.

Mine can make it for 2 full days of moderate use, apps, GPS, Wifi. Got great reviews on battery life.
