Got a PM from Billy so I checked in. I haven't visited any car forums in several months, too much going on with life so there's not much time for fun stuff.

Got laid off, found another job, had to relocate for it. The whole ordeal of house hunting, financing, closing, dealing with the underwriters, what a royal PITA. I'm still in east TN, just up in the northern part closer to Bristol. About 2 hours away from the old house. Kept the other house, since it was paid for and the market is down so much. Not to mention the fact that it has a 3-bay detached garage full of toys and tools while the new one only has the 2-car garage for parking in.

Bought a new house but it wasn't built to suit me so it has turned out to be a fixer-upper. Yeah, a brand new fixer-upper. Pulling carpet and installing hardwood, painting, re-engineering HVAC systems, landscaping, in addition to the normal moving stuff like furniture and window treatments.

I'll try to check in periodically to see what's going on. First glance at new posts looks like several new names along with the old-timers.

Good to hear from you again Brian. Where up there are you?

Living in Greeneville, working in Erwin at NFS. About a 30-35 minute commute across the mountains along the Nolichuckey River.

How many miles on your car now? Wife's is about to turn over again.... almost 200k.
