Reverse lights dont come out!?

I told the guy at my paint shop i would remove tail and reverse lights for s55 treatment, cause i read they come out when u remove rear panel then i read another post saying they dont come off so i dont know wat to do!? Any help is always much appreciated! Thanks!

no they do not come off the panal

the panel is a piece of cake, its only held on with about 10 nuts. and IIRC there are 2 behind the license plate

I'd remove the panel and drop it off.

Two screws behind the LP and then 8 nuts in the trunk lid. Some are in the holes where the wiring goes.
