Lucky 13 Video at New Smyrna Speedway from Marauderville IV

Hi all,

I posted the videos from the New Smyrna Speedway run from Marauderville IV on Youtube. This is the in-car video followed by the video from the stands. I did a search on Youtube but did not see it already there. I figured some here had not seen it yet. It was great to be there and participate with the Lucky 13! :banana:

I too was one of the "13" and was behind the silver MM on the outside----and have it on a CD--4 minures inside and 4 outside of great viewing--This is a great moment in the life of the MM and Marauderville IV---

A bit later , if it doesn't come out in the stories that may follow, I will tell about how this got created and how it turned out completed different that what everyone had thought what they had signed up for---unbeleiveable!!!!!!

I was in the blue one :) back when I had her. I stuck out like a sore thumb there. I was the only blue on the track. I also passed everyone too ;)

One parade lap and 4 all out laps. Great memories, and to be filmed by Alex and Dave....Priceless!

I was booked as Number 14. Unfortunately, I unexpectedly spent my MV IV vacation in the hospital. :( But I did get my T-Shirt, dash plaque and goodie bag.

We were allowed up to 25 cars too do that event. Some of us were under the understanding it was a dirt track so we didnt go. Too bad I for one would of went then.

Yeah, i was just to tired to make the drive to the track. Hung out on the hotel lot with the other non-attendies.

I was the 2nd car on the inside to start. Then when the quicker outside cars took off I moved over and went, too. Of course I couldn't stay with the Supercharged cars up front but mine did Ok for a stocker. I finshed up around 5th or 6th I think.

It just looked like mine was supercharged. I had a unfair advantage. I raced stock cars for 10 years. And even raced there competitively. It was a fun time for sure.;)

I was doing bout 85 down the back stretch.

That would be bout right as I remember I got to see my speed at that going into turn 4 ..trying not to slide up and hit the wall---then punch it to keep from doing it---oh wow it was fun!!

My stock Marauder could hit 65 in the straights then I had to brake to around 55 for the curves. A great time was had by all!

I'm glad you guys had to guts to look down at the dash, I know I didn't. I was too busy trying not to swap paint with others and the wall. But it was one heck of a night to remember. Next stop Datona Speedway, lol.
