HELP !!! Parking lights

Just went out to go to the store and I have no parking lights or fog lights---everything else works---instrument , turn signals, hazard, headlights--high & low beams, interior, console and ALL GUAGES ?????????????? I am going to the dealer in the morning because I will be driving at nite this week-end. Any advice ??????? Cruzer

check 18 and 21 fuses both are 15a.

Check the fuses with a test light.

I just checked the lights--everything is working perfectly ??????????? I know they weren't working because a neighbor came over and helped me last nite. It was 103 here yesterday---could that be the cause---going to be 105 today---will check again tonite. Thanks for the quick responses---MM.net rocks:D Maury

Well, guess what---went to go to lunch--temp 101---and, you guessed it-----no parking ligts or fog lights. Put the car in the shade---ran full a/c for 15 minutes with special deflector to cool the light switch--inside temp---80----still no lights---called service advisor---he's never seen this before. Now, what do I do ??????? Guess if I have to night drive, I'll put on the emergency flashers---they work. Anybody got any suggestions ???? Hopefully, Maury:depress:

Try taping on the lcm. It's right before the diagnostic port. Did you check the fuses? I have a extra light switch if nothing else works I'll send it to you and if it works you can buy it from me or whatever

Thanks. Will check the fuses and tap the LCM----since it is inside the car, it should have reset when I cooled the car down :confused: THanks for the offer on the switch--I'll let you know as soon as I can Maury

I'd check all the connections On the LCM.

My MM has seen 117 and not had that problem...... but I have an upgraded LCM.

If the dealership wants to replace the LCM, PM me before you spend $500.00+ on an LCM that will fail again.
