Marauder meet at Tower Shops in Davie, Fl

Trying to get as many people as I can :bows: . I have already made contact with a few by PM, but figured I may have missed someone, so here it goes...
Friday the 27th of February, at around 6:30 pm, going to round up some troops for a MM get together :rock: . Now for those who have never been there, this is a popular gathering place on Friday nights. Its kinda like a local car show. Numerous classics, new and custom rides, great for all ages.
So far I have about 4-5 who are planning on coming Friday, but maybe others in the area would like to stop by :confused: . Its located off I-595 and University Drive in Davie, Florida. Right in the Home Depot shopping center. If anyone out there would like to join us, either reply here or send me a PM. Hope to see a MM crowd :up: . We could park next to all those :uzi: SS's I see there all the time.

Firedab, man I`m jealous. Davie Florida is a beautiful place; my aunt used to live somewhere ( :confused: ) in Davie. Anyway hope you`ve had or will enjoy youself there.

I am frequently in South Florida on business and sitting around hotel rooms. I'd love to go look at some classics, hot rods, even ricers, and meet some of you guys. Are there any mid-week hangouts?

Hey capt, I have to agree with you, but it's because of the weather. Where else can you go to the beach 10 months out of the year, and never get stuck in the snow!? Lotusstv, please come by this Friday, we should have a good turnout. I had a few reply and they are planning on coming, so I will be there a little early to set up some parking for us.
Don, wish you could make it Friday! I am not aware of any special meets around here, but if we get a good turnout I will get more info about area meets and maybe set up something else. I will let you know!

Just got back from the the Tower Shop's meet on 2-27-04 .Around 9 or more Marauders Showed up. A nice group of people, The meet went well. Most agreed we have to do this again soon.

Well, I must say, we had a GREAT turnout ! First off, thanks to everyone who came by and made it happen. We had right around 9 proud owners come by and show off their pride and joy. Even had a S/C'ed version, thanks to lotusstv for making us envious! Had carfixer show up from the west coast, with the only DTR of the group, and had Cobra25 with the only Silver! The blacks dominated though! (nothing racial please) john nero had a sweet display for us to see and hear! Soulriot showed us the full godshead package, very clean! Had one stop by to say Hi, not a member though and others with mild upgrades, Dew343, and myself with NO upgrades! (Soon to come). Roylpita will show up with his soon, i'm sure.
I asked Logan about a designated forum for our south/central location. Hopefully one will be added. Any suggestions on a group name would be great! SouthFLA Marauders? Let me know.
I took a couple pictures, but it was getting dark and they came out blurry. Hopefully next time.
Well, thanks again guys and laddies, we'll get another meet going in a bit.

South Florida Marauders sounds good to me. Its general and to the point, it would include east and west coast Florida and not leave anybody out. I'm sure Logon should have no problem with us having our own forum and when we do I'm sure our group will grow much larger.

It was really a good showing last night. It was great to put faces to the screen names and posts. Next time we meet up it could be durning the day so we could get some good shots of us all. As far as the name South Florida Marauders is good, or we could use Sunshine State Marauders, that way the whole state could feel welcome. Any which way I'm going to tinker on a logo for us. See you guys soon.

It was a chilly night (for S. FL) but we had a great time. 9 Marauders in the same place was a site to see. We walked around the whole show and out numbered most other groups. Could tell most of the MM owner's by the MM jacket! Got to see a few mods I was interested in, the full God's head treatment, a bra and a Trilogy S/C . Met lots of nice people and lots of nice cars. It was well worth the drive over. We will certainly do it again.

BTW, I vote for Sunshine State Marauders.

Heres two versions with the two names. The second one is close to a Dolphins logo (not sure if thats a good thing of a bad thing). If Marauder57 or anyone else who's better at this than I wants to give this a shot go ahead.

I really like the sun, and the name sunshine state marauders sounds good to me too. I did have a camera, as well as john nero, but mine came out terrible, I am hoping john nero had better luck, we'll see. Reinhart is more central east florida I believe, but I have not been there. Talk later.

Dennis is located in Orange Park, on the south west side of Jacksonville.....so figure your distance to him.....

And BTW---I've got a brother who will be living in Punta Gorda/ Port Charlotte area on the West coast ..and eventually I will driving #7 down to see him ..probably once a year.......when I do I will let all know--would like to hook up with visits with you guys if possible ....Is this area near any of you?............Tom

I will surely post whenever I trip down ---and I've done the coast to coast before--would love it even more in #7...yeah love the Altantic in the morning and the Gulf in the afternoon...fun stuff....and BTW...."Jinfla" is a member here as well and resides in Ft. Lauderdale...visitied with him last June and bought a part from him--he is currently parting out a wrecked MM and putting another together for himself--wow--since June he should have that baby done about now---you guys may want to check up on getting him into your act there.....

Thanks for Keeping me in mind. I just painted the one I was rebuilding Thursday so it will be road ready in week or so. Took a bit longer than expected as I had to put a complete new frame in/ under it. Look forward to seeing you on your next trip down... Jeff

Wish I saw this thread before today, I would have showed up on Friday. Sorry I missed meeting you guys. I usaully drive the MM and park in the regular parking lot while we eat dinner, the wife shops and I just look at the show unless I have my 1928 rpoadster, 1952 Truck or the Jag.

Bryan We will be having another meet this month. I'll put you on our list of people to contact. Firedab is asking Logan for our own forum . 9 Marauders showed up last time, we expect more next time. Just to let everyone know, I did send and E-mail out to Logan about adding a South/Central Florida club, but I have not heard back as of yet. I also put a post in the regional clubs forum asking the same thing. Admin is a busy job, so in due time I'm sure he'll come through!
