We've bought loaner vehicles in th past and they workd out well. As long as they're from a reputable source, andhave been well maintained, a loaner vehicle shouldn't be a problem.

I have known a couple people that bought rentals from Enterprize and they said they were the best vehicles ever.

More likely to be maintained properly as opposed to private owners.

A plain Jane vanilla loaner would probably be OK, then I doubt they loan Shelbys...

I beat the piss out of evey rental I've ever had...

+1 I remember reverse wheel stands in a Land Rover I had. I've also sold thousands of fleet vehicles. Unless you know where the car in question came from I would be willing to bet no one cared for the car that much either. Just my .02

Dodge Charger from Enterprise RAC VS. Charger from E55th St. You are 100% Correct, otherwise I'm not sure...

I wouldn't have a problem buying a service loaner from the dealer that loaned it out, but I would have a problem buying a Honda. You may save yourself some money on fuel but you'll pay through the nose for insurance, parts and maintenance.

No different than buying a used car from a private owner, or used car lot you just need to know what your looking at/buying.

Honda= stolen vehicles  true however i live in a very low crime area and shouldn't be a problem. for a while the marauder was on the top 10 stolen car list, didn't affect my ins.

I rent at least one car a week.

Some of my rentals (after I got thru driving them) I wouldn't sell to my worst enemy.

OTH... rental companies do do regular oil changes and scheduled maintenance\nce.

it's not a rental co. it's a honda dealer.

my final word on those loaner cars i've seen 5 of them all had dings dents and scratches..so i picked 3 of the nicest ones and looked at the car fax's one had a minor accident..... but ready for this one had it's first oil change at 12,000 mi then about every 6 or 8k the others averaged every 8 or 10k and no they were not useing syn. oil it's not even a blend..you had to see the looks on there faces..they tryed to disprove it but could not..
