Police officers brawl at Waffle House; 1 arrested

MACON, Ga. —
Authorities say two female Macon police officers fought each other in a Waffle House parking lot, leading to charges against one of them.
A Macon police report states that Officer Anita M. Harrell and Officer Courtney Coleman fought around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
Macon police said in a statement that Harrell has been charged with violation of her oath of office and is on administrative leave.
Harrell tells The Telegraph (http://bit.ly/P06Spc) that she plans to appeal in hopes of keeping her job. Harrell had just left her part-time job and was off-duty.
Harrell said the brawl included punching and kicking. Coleman, who was not charged, declined to comment to The Telegraph on Monday.
