I just wanted to let my friends and members here know that as of 9/29/12, I will no longer be working for the Ford dealer that I have been with for a little over 17 years. Starting 10/1/12, I will be working for a VW dealer that is still with the same conglomerate.

OASIS reports will be available on a very limited basis as I may no longer have direct access. This goes the same for Ford parts numbers, prices, and availability. For those who might be interested in VW parts, PM me (Mary, the rabbit emblem is available for purchase if you give me a VIN......:jk:).

I'll be here to continue posting my .02 and also sell some parts that I have accumulated over the years.

Thanks for all of your help.

You were one of the first members I met.

Good luck in your new position.

After almost 2 months on the job at VW, I have noticed that the terminology is different.

So.......here's a quiz:

Take a guess at what the terms below are for the part (some are easy, other not so):

Fanfare
Series Resistor
Lambda Probe
Bonnet or Flap
Wing
Cooler for Coolant
Coolant Regulator
Silencer
Oil Sump
Seal Bolt
Wishbone
Brake Servo
Combi-Instrument
Guide Funnel
Selector Mechanism
Impulse Sender
Earth Line
Return Ring

I'll post up the answers in time.

Well,
After almost 1 year and 5 months, I am moving once again. This time I am selling Volvo parts. I was told that the experience gained in this position will take me anywhere. They were right.
