Just watched it. That's the same car for sale for $75k on eBay out of PA. No windows, no top and the tach didn't work. The appraisers were off by saying it has carbon fiber trim and that mercury would still be around if they produced the convertible instead of a sedan.

If I remember correctly, a guy from Detroit bought it. MCM was trying to get it at their woodward display this year. Hopefully it will be there in 2013.

Car got a ot of lookers at the NY Autoshow, but, saving Mercury?

Not enough convertible buyers to save Mercury.

Car was on a revolving platform. Lots of folks gathered around, but, while I was there, the sedan sat with few lookers.

Most folks were gawking at the converuble (and the female model).

Had Mercury brought out the car for sale, I probably would have bought it instead of my 2003 retro TBird.
