On Wednesday a guy pulled out in front of me at a light :mad2:. The car suffered a great deal of front end damage. Didn't get any insurance info because we were both whisked a way. Anywho, now I am wondering what exactly to do with the vehicle because I haven't talked to the driver's insurance company yet. Any advice is welcomed. :help:
Thanks

First of all...I hope everyone is okay. Sounds like it. Do you have some pictures of the damage. I've seen some miraculous work done by some folks on the fox bodies. Being a convertible makes it a little more difficult because of the lack of strength in the body.
What do you mean "YOU WERE BOTH WHISKED AWAY"???

We both took Ambulances away. He was worse off than me. Still waiting for a police report to get his information, so I can move forward.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Happened at 5 am, kind of out of it I guess. Never been in that serious of an accident. The other guy was okay physically, mentally, I am not sure, he looked to be really hurting.

Hope you are OK. Take it easy for a few days as sometimes it sneaks up on you.

+1...your body took a lot of g forces it is not accustomed to, and all that stuff inside you got juggled up. My guess is it'd be like riding in a top fuel dragster in reverse?
Oh...and look what I found in our local paper!

Contact the police dept., get a copy of the police report, which will have the other parties info, and where your car got towed to.
Contact your insurance agent, get them a copy of the police report, give them your account of the accident.
Go to the tow yard where your car is, if it is also a body shop, get an estimate and bring that to your insurance agent.
Let your insurance agent handle everything from there on, this is what you pay them for. Refer any calls or mail from the other parties insurance to your agent.
