I wanna change my voltage and oil pressure lights to maybe green if it looks ok. Anyone know where I can find any? Also whats the purpose of the blue condom on those? What are they protecting? I also noticed brown spots on the outside of the gauges. Burn spots mayb? Thanks for the help.

The blue condom is there to give you the green light. The incandescent bulb gives off yellow light so yellow + blue = green.
If you use white LEDs in place an use the blue condom you will get a blue light because LEDs put out white light.
I can supply you with green LEDs.

How DO I open the gauge to replace the bulb? So far I have read to just pull off the bright metal trim but it does not want to pull off with just fingers. And I sure do not want to ruin it with any tools. Any tricks? I realize it's a high class problem to have juist a dark voltage gauge but I try to keep my Marauder as new as possible. Thanks

You have to grab both the right and left side of the gauge pod at the end that is under the dash. Pull both sides outwards (towards the doors) then pull forward and up a little.
Have your parking brake set and the shifter in 1st gear.
You will then be able to get to the back and change the bulbs.
;)
Mike.
did green leds this spring. . .too dark
went back to clear after a few weeks, here's the green leds

NO NO NO!!!
DO NOT pull off the trim, you will ruin the gauge.
Put the car in Drive, pull on the sides of the gauge pod, once the pod is out you'll see the bulb holders at the top of each gauge, twist the holders to remove them.

This is a good time to put in a set of REAL gauges!
You'll never have to worry about replacing the bulbs again and your gauges will be serving a real purpose.

Don't forget; they don't give off heat like the bulbs do either.
