We'd like to do a little weekend trip somewhere, but have no idea where to go. I'd be fine with AC & playing poker all weekend, but she doesn't gamble so that's out. Obviously the shore is now out.

Neither of us are city people so I doubt NYC would be viable.
Anything left that isn't super expensive?

It's a couple miles down the road, but guaranteed good time:

You don't say exactly where you are in Pennsylvania ... but here are some suggestions.

1. Gettysburg -- battlefield, outlet shopping, quaint town and wineries nearby >>>> http://dc.about.com/od/hotels/a/Gettysburg-A-Visitors-Guide-To-Gettysburg.htm
2. Hershey/Harrisburg -- National Civil War Museum, Antique Auto Museum, Hershey World, lots of other stuff. >>>> http://visithersheyharrisburg.org/index.asp
3. Lancaster and the Amish Country -- maybe a side visit to the Strassburg Railway and the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum. >>> http://www.padutchcountry.com/index.asp
4. Car stuff happening at Carlisle, PA from the spring through fall. >>>> http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/

Send away for the Visit Pennsylvania Visitor's Guide and pick something that you'd both enjoy >>>> http://www.visitpa.com/pa-vacation-guide

I wouldn't rule out the shore just because of gambling.

Go to A/C, see a show, walk the boardwalk (I think it's supposed tp be a fairly decent weekend), ride down to Wildwood and Cape May, look at the old architecture, have dinner at the Cape May Lobster House (put your name on the waiting list, walk out back, weather permitting, have a drink on the sloop that's docked there, and then go back inside for dinner).

You are probably too young to enjoy this, but Wildwood is having a Fabulous 50's weekend, including a car show.

A/C, Wildwood, Cape May; you got it all.

I wasn't talking about doing it this weekend. Later in the month or some time in the winter.

I want to try my hand at skiing. Maybe we'll do that over the winter.

Maybe a nice bed and breakfast somewhere either historic or near an attraction you both can enjoy.

Last brew tour had some non-drinkers--it's just a fun time with our Marauder peeps. Plus you get to drive through some pretty countryside.........

And look at the schedule of events, not just drinking beer.
