I knew winter was coming early to Vermont when I saw literally thousands of Canadian geese in huge V-formations flying south 24/7 this week. More than 4-weeks earlier than usual. It's peak fall foliage in the valleys and past peak in the mountains. Our first mountain snow was last week, now snow squalls today…sheesh! The Artic air is upon us with our first hard frost warnings for the entire state tonight.
Damn….putting away the Marauder into deep dry storage on November 7th until late April. I have enjoyed running the Marauder in the cool fall air….makes for a few extra ponies for sure!
See ya next year when I wake up after hibernation!!!!!!!!!!! :bigcry:

Hey John, take it easy, sit back, put your feet up and relax by the fire and have Marianne bring you a nice cup of hot cocoa with marshmellows. It will be Carlisle before you know it!:D And then New Hampshire....;)

Love to, but I need to wait until afternoon due to the suns location this time of year. Still basically summer here. Love it.

They, the geese, have been honking here the last few days, swarming and heading to the southeast...

here in Oklahoma, mother nature can't decide what she wants to do. Last week highs in the low 50's and freezing at night, this past weekend was more spring like with severe weather and tornado watches and now it's sunny in mid 80's.
i think it's going to be a nasty winter with some bad ice storms :/
