Well I have run into a snag...cv.net has deleted my pre buy post. When I first signed on I asked for someone to put me in touch with the powers that be so that this would be avoided...I have tried the CONTACT US link to no avail...it comes back as a dead e-mail... any ideas? We need exposure to get the numbers up to drop the price.

Be aware that the administrator over there basically refuses to answer emails or messages or communicate with people in the community.
It is very unlikely that you will ever get a response.
Sorry.

It won't be unfortunately. There is an ongoing issue over there where people on the site are very upset about the lack of communication from the site owner.
If I were you I would just proceed as if you have permission.
Most of the moderators have either quit or have stopped moderating so you don't have much to worry about...

That's why I'm HERE! Why should it be such a chore to participate in a site? A big thank you to this site and its members for making us CV owners feel welcome here!

Perhaps try contacting Quasar. I met him once at one of our local shindigs a few years back. Nice guy. I think he's the moderator for the North Central section. I know he comes on here at times and he organizes the summer Panther meet the last few years.

I never understood why some sites have their classifieds moderated?
I don't deal with that, too much of a PITA.
Go outside and talk with a tree. You'll get more response from the tree than CVN.

Who owns the site?

I also sent an email to the owner explaining what we wanted to do and asking for his blessing...never received an answer.
If he's as disconnected as people claim, maybe he should think about selling...

The issue has been brought up and he says he is not ready to sell it yet.
Out of thousands of questions, that was the only one that he answered.

Just FYI, it was brought up in the Moderators Only forum as well and has yet to be addressed.
I personally have no issue with putting "are you interested" threads in the LL or SLL because it's not a promise to sell, it's not a contract, no money is being exchanged yet.
When it gets to that point, there should be a thread created in a For Sale forum.
I am going to bat for you, Curless.
