ok, the sucker happens when hitting bumps, sounds just like a babys squeaky toy. I know exactly where it is, it is at the top of the dash board exactly at the top right edge of the radio and the vent to the right of the radio.
Now, if I press down on the top of the dash right at that point with only the slightest of pressure, IT DOESN'T HAPPEN (it is an uncomfortable way to drive though). Anyone know the connect points there at the dash and what it could be, and how irritating would it be to remove and get to that problem.
thanks all,

You'll have to remove the radio and the trim around the instrument cluster.

will do, I would guess if I just grease all the connection points around that area, that should do it unless I see anything obvious.......

check into the passenger side airbag. have this same noise coming from around the same area you are talking about.

Don't use grease.... it will make a mess..... 20+ years experience with squeaks & rattle repairs.
Make sure every bolt is tightened, dive the car without the radio and cluster trim, if it make noise try to see what it is... might need another driver.
Replace the cluster trim, if it makes noise add thin foam strips to anywhere you think it might be making noise. Do the same with the radio if it makes the noise.
