Hey all, I saw this interesting thread a few months back, and it broke down all the colors, and how many got certain options and what not. I can no longer find this thread upon searching. Can someone direct me to it. Thank you.

Are you talking about this one? The 2003 breakout is in Post #1. The 2004 breakout is in Post #64 >>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58208&highlight=option

This ^^^^ information is old "preliminary figures" from June 2004 and does not agree with the final numbers published by FPG with the Certificates.

You know this info should be place permanently on the home page--since its so often asked or referred too--and why not--its good reference always a permanent stamp for/of our car...whata say Mary?

None of those stats, includes cars (2004's) that had the Moonroof option. :(

Not sure how the Ford Performance Group (FPG) missed that breakout. Maybe this occurred in the initial certificate coordination with MCM. :dunno:

MMs equipped with a moonroof left the factory with a 2MHHM VIN (3rd digit indicates an incomplete vehicle) versus a 2MEHM VIN. Should have been fairly easy to identify moonroof cars.

Correct.

When the Motor City Marauders worked with the Ford Performance Group to get the certificates someone forgot to include the moon roof option.

You'd think Ford would have caught that.....

Rest assured there are few MM with a factory moon roof.

Tell me about it!
I couldn't find one here in Toronto! Mine was found down in Florida and brought up. :shake:

Although some time back; "RoyLaPita" took the VIN and supplied the count on that (below in my sig).

Here's the info Brian came up with when I asked the question a while back:

2004 Marauders with Moon Roofs (VIN Coding: 2MHHM79…)
Dark Toreador Red 369 38%
Silver Birch 336 34%
Black 509 41%
TOTAL: 1,214 37.8%
