Interest..question..alternator ?????

I have a spare alternator an I'm going to a shop today to have mine media blasted so it looks brand new again and am going to paint the housing with high temp silver so it stays brand new looking.

Is there any interest here for me to get the other one done as well and, what would or could it go for in this market. I know and realize a new one is 150ish but, this would be used just painted and cleaned up. And if someone really has an extreme interest in this I'll get it rebuilt for them.

Okay, got the info. 89 bucks to take it apart and hit it with a high temp spray bomb. If any work is needed when apart, 129. New ones cost 150ish. In my opinion NOT WORTH IT at all. So I just cleaned mine up with a wire wheel and looks almost like new.

Just hope you didn't get any stray metal pieces inside..............

Hope I didn't either. If I did, o'well, then the spare gets redone and a shinny brandy new reman takes it's place.;)
