I was not impressed with the quality of the fiberglass front bumper and the paint that Saleen touched.

They did a *****y job? Did they repaint the whole car or just the body parts they put on and not match good?

The ford paint was very good, the Saleen front and rear custom bumpers were poor quality (especially the front) and the paint color matched ok but it's shine was different...not as vibrant.

My friend didn't notice until I pointed out all the flaws (in a loving way :-).

He is taking it back to have it addressed.

Damn not what I'd expect from Saleen. So its an actual Saleen not a kit?

That's terrible then. I'd understand the paint being a little off if it was just a kit or something

Man. Love the SMS and Roush Mustangs. My wife really wants either one as a graduation gift next year.

I'm surprised about the paint quality. That really sucks.

Ya'll may have known this but Steve Saleen has control of Saleen again. I'm not sure how that affects SMS as a company. From the sound of it though, SMS quality wasn't as good as what was associated with Saleen Inc.
