World's Brightest Universal Multi-Application LED Bulb. The V3 Triton may very well be the most advanced LED bulb of all time.

VLEDS announces the worldwide release of the V3 Triton (http://www.v-leds.com/page/V3TRITON.html), the world’s first, multi-application, adjustable, automotive replacement LED bulb. A revolutionary design that combines the best in LED technology, style and functionality. Meet the next generation in LED lighting technology, the V3 Triton.
“Our goal was to make an LED bulb that fits most any housing and socket type, then make it adjustable, and brighter than any other bulb on the market,” said Jake York, President/CEO, VLEDS. “Throughout our company, we’ve always strived to give customers the best possible products with the highest performance on the market. The V3 is truly a testament of that goal.”

Performance and Functionality
Whether it’s for safety, energy efficiency, or just looking cool, consumers want the latest and the greatest. The V3 raises the bar for automotive LED replacement lighting. For the first time ever, customers can enjoy brighter turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, and DRLs. The universal interface system ensures ease of installation and use in a broad range of vehicles and applications.
Aptly named, the V3 Triton features 3 powerful 3W Philips Rebel Luxeon LEDs that deliver up to 600lm in output. “We optically engineered the lens to create a perfect beam of light that can be dialed in to the lamps reflector via its exclusive adjustable feature,” says York, “The V3 was designed for consumers looking for the best and most powerful LED replacement bulb money can buy.”

Lighting for Life
The universal design also allows for installation in nearly any application. This means the bulb can be moved from one vehicle to the next. VLEDS also designed the V3 with longevity in mind. The innovative heat sink structure provides adequate thermal management for the most demanding situations. Unlike many other LED bulbs on the market, the V3 withstands continuous on times in high mode. Whether you’re on the brakes in traffic, or using it in a DRL application, the V3 powers on without compromising performance and lifespan. With an estimated 50,000 hour life expectancy, the V3 will be a part of your life for years to come.

Pricing and Availability
The V3 Triton will be available in Red, Amber, White and 6K White/Amber Switchback. The V3 is available for Pre-Order at VLEDS.com. Pricing starts at $79.99 pair.

The bulbs are sold in pairs which have universal applications, have the ability to focus the light spread in the housing reflector and come with a with a lifetime warranty.

Sometimes technology cost $$$.

Very interesting. This might be one of those "costly compared to normal but totally worth the outlay" upgrades....

That would be epic (and not subject to light law BS.)

600lm? im assuming is 600lumens....i have a flashlight that has 750 lumens, very bright! im personally dissapointed that these are not brighter....i get 750 lumens out of 9volts. keep patient people and before you know it they will have ones rated at 1000 lumens. on the bright side(pun intended) these are still super bright, and will outlast any bulb. and fastblackmerc...not to cramp your style, youre charging $55 for an interior led kit that i did in my honda civic for $15...i wouldn't knock somebodies price for innovation....just like i wouldn't knock your price for your innovation.

Not quite as bright as my crappy 9004 bulbs plus I guess they. don't have high beams. Oh well.

So can they be used as headlights?
No they won't fit and would not be anywhere near bright enough. Now they could be used for Daytime Running Lamps for vehicles that had dedicated DRL lights instead of the high beam running at 75%

Wish I could but won't work.

Would be a waste in the foglights as an HID kit cost about half of what these cost and the HID will put out probably 4-5x more light.

A standard 9007 headlight bulb at 55watts puts out about 1000 Lumens. A 5000K hid kit puts about 3200 Lumens and these VLEDs bulbs put out 600 Lumens.

Now to the fun part with comparing LEDs. So this V3 Triton bulb has ONE led that puts out 600 Lumens. A LED bulb of lets say 36 leds at 5 watts of power is going to put out 450-500 Lumens.

Your right. Technology does cost. You get what you pay for.
I have a picture of three marauders next to each other one has halogen bulb, one has crappy leds, and one has VLED. Big difference in the three. I'll try to post it when I get to laptop.
I have the Vleds switchback in now and may swap out with these Tritons soon.

I haven't heard of anyone using those for reverse lights, plus at $100 for a pair you could buy multiple pairs of regular SMD LED bulbs or even a 15w HID reverse lighting kit for the same price.

Vleds has these 3156 reverse LED bulbs.
$33.00 per single bulb and 1000 lumens per each bulb.

Who cares how bright the turn signal lights are. How about a plug and play LED headlight bulb that is brighter then the scented candle glow of the OEM bulbs.

I'm not sure with the depth that these would fit on the passenger side without putting a hole in the battery.
