well in my area I think I have the only mm as I have never seen another...surely doesent mean there is not another one...just have not seen one on the road. the past two week ends i have been driving it i noticed the people who have been stairing it down the most, not to mention the thumbs up. it seems people who drive bmw's and other "higher end" cars and heavy duty series pick up trucks really look at my car the most, the run of the mill car drivers ( honda, toyota ) dont even notice for the most part.
well sorry if i ruffled any feathers with my responce about the rairity of this car and the svt involvement. one thing i know is this car is a hell of a lot of fun to own and drive, i did not buy it for a 1/4 mile car, i bought it because it is unique:beer:

I don't see too many other MMs either. Most drivers don't think much of it. But those that do seem to always appreciate it.

I usually drive my MM on week-ends - cause that's the comfy-time :-)

Really? How unique can it be, almost everyone on this board has 1, some have 3 or 4. :D

Just busting your chops, enjoy your new ride, it is unique and special, take good care of it, and it will do the same for you.

Ironic...I was living/stationed in Mass the first time I saw one...think it was in 2006. Fell in love instantly and 5 years later got my own...

No feathers ruffled here. Just more great Marauder discussions. It's far from the first time it's come up.

Capitalization is important. It's the difference between "helping my uncle jack off a horse" and "helping my Uncle Jack off a horse". :)

thanks Kirk...you have a couple nice marauders for sure. years ago I sold a 66' galaxy 7 litre that was well optioned, even had cruise controll. I allways regretted selling that car, I sold it to a friend who is a car collector and he sold it to someone else. would like to get that car back but not enough room to store it!!

The S-55 was Mercury's version of the 7-Litre. A super rare 4-speed car sold at Mecum this weekend for only $8,500 http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=FP0912-136978&entryRow=283
Somebody got one hell of a deal.
