Lots of guys on the mustang boards calling BS. They say it would take 2400whp to run 280 in the mile. Its quite funny to read them bickering.:)

Mihovetz said it would take 2400hp. At least thats what the mustang guys were quoting. The next closest cars to the 283 is another GT with a Mihovetz motor and turbos and a camaro. Both ran 263 and change. The GT blew the motor and the camaro had trans problems at the last event in TX.

Anybody price out a used GT lately? They're still $140K!! I love it how all the auto rags laughed when Ford decided to sell a $140K car here they are 5 years later with almost no depreciation, can't say that about your Ferrari or Lambourghini. LOL
