Renault and Ford have joined forces to create the perfect small car. ;)

Mixing the Renault 'Clio' and the Ford 'Taurus' they have designed the 'Clitaurus'. It comes in pink, and the average male car thief won't be able to find it - let alone turn it on - even if someone tells him where it is and how to do it.

Rumor has it though, that it leaks transmission fluid once a month, and can be a real ***** to start in the morning! Some have reported that on cold winter mornings, when you really need it, you can't get it to turn over.

New models are initially fun to own, but very costly to maintain, and horribly expensive to get rid of. Used models may initially appear to have curb appeal and a low price, but eventually have an increased appetite for fuel, and the curb weight typically increases with age. Manufacturers are baffled as to how the size of the trunk increases, but say that the paint may just make it LOOK bigger.

This model is not expected to reach collector status. Most owners find it is best to lease one, and replace when it becomes troublesome.

Leave it up to the French to come up with something like that....

Wonder how it performs in a rear end collision.

LOL Charlie!!!

Headlights look to be rather small for the overall body though?

Looks like two people can be inside it at a time.

Charlie....

"Although the engine is very well built, there have been reports of blown rods, especially during spirited test drives before buying the car.
Once the car is purchased there are no known reports of it blowing any rods."

"The car is also reported to be pretty slow...never exceeding 68 MPH.
This model just won't do 69."

Seems to be the case with many older models as well...

"This model requires premium gas. If it is fed any low grade mexican fuel it will backfire and emit bad sulfur odors!"

It's bad enough the Italians now own Chrysler, if the French bought Ford I would commit hara-kiri...wait...that's Japanese...I can't even kill myself like an American.

Yeah, yeah....I'm purposely ignoring the double-entendre in this thread.... ;)

Yes,
You can always upgrade and pay more for really large headlights with enhanced "high beams".

I really can't take credit for this ... other than a copy and paste. I receive lots of junk e-mails that usually get a quick delete. This one tickled my funny bone. Thought some of you might also enjoy it. :P

I hate to admit it, but I kinda like the Smart...it's like those wrinkly dogs: they're so ugly they're cute...like the FIAT 500.

Right there with you Bob. The sport model ain't half bad, I'd drive it. Came close to buying a black one with true flames for only $10,900. Just don't need it? I have too many cars already!
