I just picked up a 08 mountaineer a week ago. 43k on mileage. v8, with 6 speed trans (5 with overdrive). I've noticed that when slow down, when I finally come to a complete stop the transmission will jerk forward slightly almost like I've been bumped in the rear by another car. doesn't do it all the time. haven't had a chance to ask service dept at ford abt it, thought maybe someone here would know or have felt it and can confirm that it's normal or to take it in. have extended warranty, so i'm good there. thanks for the help
