i picked up a new set of wheels for my mm yesterday and am wondering if there is any calling for the stock wheels. im kicking around selling them just becausei dont want them sittingin my garage. the tires that are on them are dry rotted and not any good so it would be just the wheels. there in pretty good shape. i need to look them over good to determine actual condition but im mostly wondering if anyone is seeking them out and if so what there worth? thanks guys

I paid 500 for 4 wheels and new oem front tires, actually 3 of four wheels were The Mustang version but all were new.(ebay)
And I drove to Michigan to pick them up

Works for me. One of them has very minor curb rash. The other three look to be near perfect. Didn't notice any chips or gouges or scratches. They have 89 thousand miles on them. I didn't intend for this to be a for sale thread. Ill move it if I need to

A few years back, these wheels would be a hot commodity and command a high selling price. I have the same set of wheels basically listed in the "For Sale" forum at $500 and haven't had a nibble yet.

I paid $500 for four rims that could use a little TLC with center caps and trashed tires almost a year ago locally.
I also paid $400 for two widened rims w/ center caps and near new DR's a couple months ago. These rims could also use a polish.
Hope that helps, just keep in mind not to say perfect unless they are showroom new. Some people have different views of perfect and trust me, the buyers usually tend to judge higher than lower.

Yeah I noticed that, seemed like 5 years ago they'd be selling upwards of 250+ each, now they are hard to sell. I know part of its the economy but wonder if there are just more sets around now than actual cars because of the cars being totaled over time. Typically, a totaled car would have at least one if not numerous rims still ok.

Oh well. I don't mind keeping mine, and I'm not gonna give 'em away.

There is interest, But with no shipping kinda hard to justify another $500 to drive out there to pick them up

id be willing to buy them but like everyone else says its just expensive to make that trip when i could pay 100 more locally for the same thing with tires. its more difficult to ship but you might actually get the 500 if the buyer pays for shipping. you could sell them for 375 or 400 and im sure someone would make the run. youre far as hell from me or i would personally.

A few years back I sold my factory wheels and trunk organizer as a package for $800.
