Welp down here in Vegas my cluster decided to have the bulb go out between the 40-100mph area. Any tips for disassembly? I haven't had this cluster out before. Is there a good LED replacement that will match factory color and add clairity? Thanks guys.

Normally I would have but the traffic was nuts, even in the middle of no where.

Here are the bulbs that you should replace with the LED bulbs.

Do the LED's do any funky lightning? I know the are a very directional light and I don' want my cluster looking weird.

You can get them directional; but others come with lights all around them.
(I don't know what kind FBM has with his kits; but you can be sure, he's got it right!).

This type of deally just for example:

I have "directional" LEDs and "non-directional" LEDs available.

LEDs are the way to go!

I have them in mine and they look great!

Exactly like the factory bulbs only brighter.

superbrightleds.com is a great resource, I've just recently bought the full setup to convert my Camaro interior from incandescent bulbs to LED. It can get pricey (I think all combined, with about 18 different bulbs, my setup cost around $75-$80), but the lighting quality as well as the quality of the bulbs they sell make it worth it for a one-time thing.

In my opinion well worth the price!

YOU WILL NEVER NEED TO REPLACE THEM AGAIN!

I had a spare 194 sitting in the garage so I went out and swapped it in. Its easier to pull that dash apart than a fox or SN95. Fixed.

Awesome! As many of times as I have had mine apart, I could do it in my sleep now.

Oh yeah I'm dreading having to my gauge cluster out to swap out my tach and I just put the X940BT in the other week ago. I must say I really like the trim kit for the double din from Merta, looks almost like it's stock.

The needle looks the same to me......

There is no light for the needle. It gets LIT from the reflection inside. What kind of LEDs did you use?

Are they all lighting up? LEDs have a + & - unlike incandescent bulbs.
