My first one , a 55" one---yep--requireed a cable and was about $99 a think--- ONE TIME BUY --keep it for others if needed if that one ever goes bad---had to bite the bullett--check around--price am sure is less elsewhere---

Doubtful you will ever see any performance gains from the $100+ cable.

There is NO reason to spend $100 on an HDMI cable. Not even $50...A $5 cable will do the same exact thing....

The difference between HDMI cables is so negligible that most magazines or websites didn't bother purchasing expensive wires to do a review on.

How about first asking Charter (presuming you have cable and not DISH/ Direct TV)? Comcast provides HDMI cables at no charge to our customers.

Pay no more then $5.99

It's a digital signal, not analog. There is NO difference.

Me and my brother just buy the like $9 one at wally world. Sometimes the spot is empty (so you have to be patient for when they restock it) or its located in a different location than the other HDMI cables (I found several places they had HDMI cables in different locations and sometimes different brads in the store), but so far it works fine.

But the expensive ones seem to be located near the TVs so I look in the entire electronic section.

I bought an HDMI 1.4 compliant cable from ebay for like $3, and it still works perfectly transmitting RealD3D signal with 5.1 dolby digital sound.

HDMI cables are one of the biggest ripoffs out there. If it works at all, it should work 100%.

$120 HDMI cables are like $400 speaker hoses and $75 RCA interconnects...unless you have God's own system, they're a complete waste.

As stated above, $5 or $500 they all have to meet the same industry standard. I use whatever Wally World has the cheapest. Save your money.
