At one of the IDPA matches after the COF was finished we decided to see who was the best shot (sideways style). It was pretty funny.

The reason we in the gangster business turn the ejection port so that the spent shell casing ejects in a vertical motion is two fold: The main reason is to facilitate the rapid gathering of the spent shell casings so as not to leave any at the job site. The second reason is while you are squatting to gather up that caps you just busted, you can gather up your pants and raise them when you return to the upright modified Weaver stance and make preparations to depart the scene. So laugh if you want at the technique, it is a proven time saver.

Hell all the drive by shootings I responded to were gangsta style and usually it was a child or innocent adults actually shot!

We had one of them there shootings in one of our finer housing developments, 132 shell casings on the ground, 25 feet from one another, not 1 person was hit, almost 70 were from a 30 caliber carbine. I'd just about bet the other was a Hi-Point.

The one I was speaking of he was shooting up hill, over concrete. Due to his "style" of shooting, the rounds actually impacted the concrete and skipped off. Hit builfdings a block over. :shake: Luckily no inncents were injured.
