I used to be a surgeon during the war. 12 hour days of standing on your feet..you had to do everything on your feet. you even had to eat on your feet.
i had a solider once who took a cannonball to the stomach. We thought he was a goner but after 18 hours of surgery we saved him...until he suddenly died on the table.
Turns out I left half a baloney sandwich in his lung.

ya... :shake:

Man-oh-man, this is really sad. Someone ought to do something about this! I can't see how anyone would let this go on, it's just not right! Doctors eating bologna sandwiches during surgury, c'mon! Doesn't this bother anyone? I'm really pizzed!

Someone get the man a pizza!

Mac, it depends on what kind of bologna he had on his sandwich. Was it sweet bologna or German bologna? Did the doctor have mestard or mayonaise? What kind of bread, was it white, wheat, rye or pumpernickle? And most important of all was there cheese on the sandwich? I believe you need to take all of these things into account before you make such a biased opinion and get all bent out of shape.

Doctors are people to and need to eat, what do you expect him to do run out to Uno's and get a single server while he has a patient on the table? Well do you?? Just my opinion.

My point exactly. I remember reading about that. I use to work at a small dairy plant packaging milk and we were not allowed to leave the machines while they were running. We had it eat our lunches as we were working. If the USFDA Inspector came we had to hide everything before he saw it. I was caught more then once with a mouth ful of food and nothing was ever said. I think the Inspector had deep pockets that kepted getting filled with cash.

Y'all ever read greyghost (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/member.php?u=1471)'s sig...

"700,000 physicians in the U.S. cause 120,000 accidental deaths each year.
80,000,000 gun owners in the U.S. cause 1,500 accidental deaths each year
(all age groups). Therefore, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more
dangerous than gun owners."

isn't a surgeon.... he wouldn't need someone to bring his favorite lunch to him. It'd already be on the table. :puke:
