Click the Tire Rack link on our homepage. They'll drop ship to your or your favorite shops doorstep...cheaper. Those of us who shop with these great folks, will never go anywhere else for tires or wheels.

Barry - Is Road Hazard included in the Tire Rack Prices? One pot hole or one nail can ruin a tire. With road hazard you only pay for the amount of tire used. Road Hazard bailed me out many times.

Tire Rack is $85 for the rears, no hazard plus shipping. Cannot beat them.

I never thought of 'road hazzard' insurance as I have never purchased it in all my time.
The worst I have done is hit a nail or two, or wore them bald. Good point though for those with bad luck in regrards to road hazzards.

Road hazzard is ok if they don't try and give you a run around when you damage a tire.
Usally when you hit a pot hole they claime abuse:mad: ??
just a thought

Ive had enough :bs: from dealers as well and find it futile to fight with them anymore.it seems to be something you can pay more $$ for but can never cash in on it..

Lifetime Flat Repair....I don't think you can patch or repair Z series tires.
Lifetime Balancing ....Without damaging the rims ?
Road Hazard Warranty....What does that include.

With shipping, mounting and balancing Tire Rack's prices are higher than BJays. Plus where do you go if you have a problem. IMO it is always better to by local if possible.

We hear ya John. This is one of those individual preference things.
If there is a problem with the tire, which happened to 3 of 4 very expensive Michelins in 2000*, they cross shipped me 3 new tires and sent UPS to pickup the others.
I have a place I utilize that takes great care with wheels. I always just have the tires drop shipped there. They have great prices on Nittos as well. Bj's can't match that.
It's definately a situational decision. But if you found the best price for our stockers, we thank you, this is good info.
*These tires had internal manufacturing failures that required more than two oz.'s of weight to balance on the rim. A g-force balancer will catch this every time. A standard balancer, and/or an inexperienced employee will miss this as well. No good tire-rim combo requires no than more than 2oz. of weight. The big box stores will miss this everytime.
Growing up in the rubber capital Akron, Ohio, I was blessed with 2 generations of tire engineers. My father and grand father passed on alot of secrets to me.
I bought "new shoes" back in November from TireRack...$400.36 shipped directly to Team Ford...$15/tire for mounting/balancing.
NOW...TireRack has raised their price to $125 - $129 per...I checked today for another thread.
Glad I did when I did....

It would be nice to find someone local to do the alignment especially after Eibachs[or cutting coils haven't decided yet].I sent you an e-mail a couple days ago- call me. Dennis

Tire Rack has raised the prices. Front are 125 and rear are 129. I am buying a pair of rears from Weaver Tire in Marietta for under 300.00 installed. No one balances a wheel and tire better than these guys.
I also compared at Discount Tire in Kennesaw. They were 249.00 installed but Weaver, for me, is worth the extra 50.00.

Dennis - I was only inquring to see if the had them. They can balance them but do not do wheel alignments. There is a place in Deer Park called Mustang Magic. The installed several MODS on a member of this boards vehicle. I will be in Deer Park on Friday and check if they can do an alignment or if they know a place that can.
